Student Profile: Dave Rozeboom (3rd year, Bachelor of Theology)

Coffee Break

David Rozeboom came to Farel from western Michigan in the United States.  Knowing little about Quebec, he nonetheless took the risk of coming and has greatly enjoyed his studies.  Through the various courses of the B.Th program, he was introduced to the wide world of pastoral studies—half of which was done in French.  In fact, to gain ability in French and pastoral experience, David took an intensive course and did an internship with a French-speaking Reformed Church in Quebec City in the summer of 2006.  Although he had substantial abilities in French before this trip, he was much more capable and sure in his French communication after.  This present academic year David was a volunteer at the Seafarers Centre in the Old Port of Montreal—a mission in which he hopes to become more involved in the coming year.
