PROGRAMS
Four Programs to Choose from: (Click on the program titles to view standard course schedule)
The Bachelor of Theology Degree Program is designed for those students who may or may not have a Bachelor’s degree, who have met the core prerequisite requirements, who intend to enter the ministry of the Word, and who do not require a Master of Divinity degree for ordination.
Note: The Bachelor of Theology Degree Program is designed to offer the same curriculum as the Master of Divinity Degree Program, in all respects. If, after obtaining the Bachelor of Theology Degree, a graduate completes his second Bachelor’s degree, he may apply to receive an upgrade of his degree to a Master of Divinity degree. Responsibility for determining whether the Bachelor of Theology Degree is adequate for ordination rests with the student or his church, not the Seminary.
MDiv:
The Master of Divinity Degree Program is designed for those students who have a Bachelor’s degree and who have met or intend to meet all the Seminary prerequisite requirements.
MTS:
The Master of Theological Studies Degree Program is designed for those students who have a Bachelor’s degree and who have met or intend to meet all the Seminary prerequisite requirements but do not wish to pursue ordination.
Certificate:
The Certificate of Theological Studies program is designed for students who do not wish to continue beyond the certificate level in theological studies but are nonetheless interested in developing their knowledge and ability to serve in their churches. Their interests can be developed in almost any combination of the four areas of the curriculum (biblical studies, historical theology, systematic theology, and missions and practical theology) while still benefiting from a strong grounding in the fundamentals of theological study.
